Meet Our Founder

Dulce Perkins is the founder and driving force behind NorthStar Blueprint Consulting. A Hispanic single mother, entrepreneur, and community leader, Dulce brings a rare combination of professional expertise and personal resilience to her work.

Growing up, she witnessed firsthand the struggles of families and small businesses who lacked resources, support, and access to opportunity. Translating for her mother as she navigated a new country and watching her brothers lose their flooring company due to systemic barriers instilled in Dulce both compassion and determination. These experiences shaped her vision: to create spaces where organizations and leaders can thrive without facing those same obstacles alone.

Professionally, Dulce has built a strong background in nonprofit consulting, business development, and construction project management. She specializes in nonprofit audits, strategic planning, leadership and board training, and mission alignment. She also supports small businesses in areas like compliance, COBID certification, operational systems, and employee policies.

Personally, Dulce is described as compassionate, resilient, creative, and deeply grounded. She is anchored in her role as a mother and motivated by her desire to serve as a role model for other women, single parents, and entrepreneurs. Her vision for NorthStar is to be more than a consulting firm—it is a partner, a guide, and a source of strength for organizations striving to make a difference.
